Who makes Sleep Lock
Sleep Lock is made and operated by Modestas Razanauskas, an independent developer in Lithuania. The app and website focus on one problem: helping iPhone users stop opening distracting apps when they meant to sleep. Contact: support@sleeplock.app.
Why it exists
Most sleep advice asks people to use their phone less at night. Sleep Lock turns that advice into a practical boundary: you choose the exact apps that should be unavailable during your sleep window, and iOS enforces it.
How it works
Sleep Lock uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, DeviceActivity). You pick apps, categories, or websites, set a bedtime and wake time, and those apps show a full-screen shield until morning. Calls, SMS, alarms, and emergency features keep working. It runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 or later.
Privacy
The app has no account, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. Your app choices stay on your device as private Screen Time tokens, and Apple Health sleep data is read only on your device. This website uses Google Analytics only with your consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
How the guides are made
The Sleep Lock blog uses automation to draft focused guides for recurring iPhone sleep and phone habit questions. The content strategy is intentionally narrow: every guide should help someone understand or fix a bedtime phone problem that Sleep Lock is designed to solve.
